In 2013 I found about a company who uses Verizon towers and a plan that was only $12!!! What a barging I thought, as I used them for a few months until I ran into an area Page Plus Cellular didn't work well and I started to see several months they started to change with limitation on the phones you can bring.

Since they didn't honor my phone I left them and went to Verizon. Through out the years the time in technology has advanced and changed. I was with Verizon since 2013 making 8 years as a loyal customer. It seemed as they started to get very $$ pricy in their plans.

Covid has hit billions of people and I was one of those who needed something cheap and something to get me through the time I am in to at least have a phone that makes calls, text. I had a phone and called Page Plus and spoke to them about activating it. They told me that my phone was a prepaid as it was not and one rep told me my phone was compatible and then another said it wasn't. I was already regretting trying to get service with Page Plus.

They give you a run around and the funny thing is I WORK FOR VERIZON AS THEY ARE MY SISTER COMPANY USING OUR SERVICE. They are rude and so unprofessional. However, I was advised to just buy one of their phones as that's what they wanted as they get commotion on sales as well. I took the offer just to give it a try, not even day one the packaging they sent not a new phone but a refurbished phone as they say its new.

Lets be honest and not lie to your customers. These guys are not trained enough to review their resources..

Anywho, I get this phone that gives me error messages, and I cant call out after paying for my service to activate. I got a message that said " We have detected this phone isn't the same phone that was activated and used for your wireless service. You need to take out your sim and re-insert it to reactivate your service.

If this does not work please contact your service provider." So I had the rep listen to this message and they told me the imei didnt match and the sim card was not the right sim card that was activated. I had the order receipt and the manager told me the order was not valid as I re-read the numbers very slow and clear. I have never had such trouble in my life.

I went to a different carrier. They tired to tell me that I put the wrong sim card in WHEN THEY SENT ME THE DEVICE AND I HAVE NO OTHER SERIVCE UP THEIRS........I am over this company and will never come back....Oh and they phone is defective and you have to pay for the shipping to return the phone to them what a joke.

User's recommendation: Do not buy and waste your money and time.

Monetary Loss: $20.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Page Plus Cellular Cons: Customer service, Customer service is difficult to deal with, Return policy, Invalid ups tracking numbers, Cell phones.
